White and Colored Sheep - Maria Rooney
Maria is owner/operator of Silver Creek Lambscapes, comprised of 350 ewes in a grass-based commercial environment, where she runs NZ Coopworth, white & colored Romneys and Horned Dorsets. Awards for her sheep and wool are much too numerous to mention and include several OFFF Diamond awards. She brings an education-al display whenever she exhibits her sheep and is quick to offer advice to novice sheep raisers. She graduated from Univ. of California, Davis.
Classic Sheep - Mac Stewart
Mac last judged at OFFF in 2004 and we are pleased to welcome him back. He graduated in 2000 from Oklahoma State Univ. with a Bachelor of Animal Science. He has raised and exhibited numerous purebred wool & commercial sheep for most of his life. Mac lives in the Willamette Valley where he is production manager for a large commercial blueberry farm with operations in Albany, Clatskanie and St Paul. While he doesn't raise sheep full-time, he does run a custom flock in the Valley.

Our Mission is to exhibit and demonstrate the full spectrum of natural fibers (plant and animal), from beginning to end.
That is, from the animal or raw fiber to the finished product.
