In this class we will explore the wonderful world of fiber and see what to look at when picking out a fleece. This is a hands on class where we will examine what a judge looks for by seeing the different types and styles of wool and other fibers. A discussion will take place on what each different style of fiber is best suited for, and the several options in processing and blending the fibers. Come and have fun by dipping your hands in luscious fibers.
Students should bring: an apron, pencil and paper, a fleece if you have one that can be shared and looked at in class. Bring your questions and be ready for a fun day.
