WS 841 Favorite Shawl Shapes
Fee $ 50 Knitting
Instructor: Michele Lee Bernstein
When: 9:30am-12:30 PM Saturday, September 22nd
Skill Level: Intermediate
Shawls and shawlettes are a great way to show off one or two skeins of very special yarn. How are these shapes constructed? We’ll knit through mini versions of my favorite shapes: Top down triangle, asymmetric triangle, top down elongated crescent, and sideways crescent. Learn these shapes and make up your own shawl!
Students should bring 50g/150 yards smooth, light colored sport or DK weight yarn, and straight or 24” circular needles in the appropriate size for your yarn. (It will be easier to learn with a thicker yarn and a slightly longer needle tip.)
