In this workshop students will learn the basics of stranded colorwork. We will embark upon two color cowls using the instructor's own pattern, The Hop Flower Cowl, and play with methods for managing two strands at once. Students are encouraged to develop their own best method during the learning process. In addition to stranded colorwork, students will have an opportunity to be introduced to reading charts, will explore introductory color theory, and will learn about the other ways we knitters can add color to our work. Students should bring 175 yds each of 2 colors worsted weight yarn, size 6 and 8 needles or needles to make 20 stitches and 24 rows over 4 inches.
